How age is calculated
We compute calendar years first, then peel off months and days by walking the calendar — not by averaging days. The result matches how you'd naturally count someone's age: "I'm 34 years, 5 months, and 18 days old."
Month-end edge cases are handled correctly: if someone is born on March 31 and you check on February 28, they're not "one month old" — they're 11 months and 28 days short of one year.
